AMAZING
We had such a fun and memorable experience, at the Music Bar (Barcelo Riviera Maya- Adults Only) and a huge part of that was thanks to Jose Cruz and Yessenia Cruz! Both of them were incredibly friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always made us feel taken care of. It started storming and they were so amazing, and made sure we still had fun!
Their positive energy and wonderful service really stood out. They went above and beyond to make our time here enjoyable, and every interaction with them put a smile on our faces. It’s people like Jose and Yessenia who turn a great vacation into an unforgettable one.
Thank you both for making our experience so much fun! You are amazing, and we truly appreciate everything you are doing for us. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The highlight of our trip was the Brazilian restaurant, the Rodizio! We ended up changing our bookings so we could go a second time, which was quite a distance from where we were staying at the Adults Only resort. Amazing service from Gaspar, the most attentive, kind, humorous server. He made it such a memorable meal. Gracias Gaspar!!
We loved the activities and entertainment staff at the Maya Riviera Adults Only resort. They were all so fun and engaging especially since it was a quiet time on the resort, some days at 25% capacity. Thank you Maria, Michelle, Carelli, Fatima, Silver. Especially loved beach volleyball, water aerobics/zumba and the dance lesson. Thank you to the pool bartenders Carlos and Felipe!
It is definitely a quieter time to visit during off season in August. Don't expect a party resort. One downfall was a lot of closed restaurants, with alternating nights they were open. Still met lots of nice people and most importantly enjoyed the company we were with!

Carlos Lopez at the music bar was absolutely amazing, whatever y’all are paying him, double it!!!!!
Everything was Excellent except for the bathrooms little to no privacy 🤦🏾♂️
The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom privacy. Whoever designed the bathroom failed miserably. You want a level of privacy when you are in the bathroom; you can see 50 percent into the bathroom. It’s only good if you are a couple.

Wonderful Vacation - Thank you Barcelo
Just returned from our first stay at the Barcelo Maya Riviera. Everything was outstanding and so glad we chose this resort. Service is outstanding with a Guest to Staff ratio that surpasses any resort I have stayed in Mexico, so there never any difficulty in engaging a Barcelo team member. A few standouts that deserve an extra shout out... David at Le Comedie (best experience at this wonderful restaurant), Gelmy at the Music Bar was so helpful, quick and courteous. Gabriel in Security went above and beyond to be sure we were well taken care of. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with great service, wonderful amenities and superb dining, definitely book a week here.
