A truly special family stay at Samabe
We spent nine nights at Samabe Bali Suites & Villas as a family of three, and leaving was genuinely difficult.
The setting above the ocean in Nusa Dua is spectacular, but what made our stay truly memorable was the warmth of the people. The staff were consistently thoughtful and took wonderful care of my parents. Rika deserves a special mention—always cheerful, kind and incredibly helpful with the buggy service.
Food was excellent, with Indian options readily available, and Chef Echo was wonderful. Breakfast overlooking the ocean became one of our favorite parts of the day.
Morning yoga was another highlight. Juni and Juli were warm, encouraging and attentive, and those sessions became one of my favorite Samabe rituals.
The secluded beach is beautiful, and the elevator makes access considerably easier. Guests with mobility limitations should know, however, that the resort is not completely step-free.
Our one real disappointment was the villa pool. It was beautiful but too cold for us to enjoy, and getting in and out was difficult. Proper steps or a handrail—and ideally a heated or jetted option—would make a significant difference, particularly for multigenerational families.
Ultimately, what we will remember most is how genuinely cared for we felt. From morning yoga to our final evening on the beach and one last Bali sunrise, Samabe gave our family some wonderful memories.

Stop looking and go here!
Best resort I’ve been to hands down. Perfect blend of adult style resort that allows kids to be kids. The food here is incredible and the menu is extensive so you never get tired of ordering. The breakfast buffet is always so fresh and delicious. The first buffet I’ve looked forward to going to. I will be back 100%. Not to mention the staff who learn your names and remember who your children are. My daughter is 4 and this is the first time she has gone to a kids club and after the first visit she was asking to go every day.
Relaxation is easy in paradise
Such a well designed place. The whole staff are amazing. We stayed in an ocean-view pool suite. Was heavenly. We wanted for nothing. Made our honeymoon perfect. The food was lovely everywhere we ate. Was some of the best room service food I’ve ever had, anywhere. Loved the daily massages. Don’t miss out on the complementary cucumber eye masks around the pool at 3.15. They include either a foot or head massage too. Absolute bliss. Really relaxed in the seven days we spent here. Was definitely long enough. Will definitely be back. LOVED IT!

True relaxing with perfect service
We stayed at Samabe for 5 nights with our child. We stayed in an ocean view suite without a private pool.
Our experience was really amazing and much better than what we expected. I can say this is one of the best resorts I stayed in Bali, maybe the best one.
The beach, the room, the food and especially the service made our stay very special.
For me, this resort is 10/10.
Service – 1000/10
This is honestly the best service I had in a resort.
What I really liked is the flexibility and the professional service at the same time. This is not easy to find.
The staff are very nice, friendly and always smiling. They reply very fast and also do our requests very fast. Everything was easy and smooth.
Also, I really liked the small details. They remember our names, always ask us if everything is good, and always ask if we need anything.
The WhatsApp service is also amazing and very useful.
For me, the service alone is a big reason to come back again.
Beach – 1000/10
The beach is amazing!
Very clean, quiet and beautiful. It is a perfect place to relax.
The service at the beach is also very good and the staff are always ready to help.
We really enjoyed our time there. The beach is one of the best things about Samabe.
Food – 10/10
The food was very delicious.
We tried the breakfast at the main restaurant. There are many choices and the variety is very good. The presentation is also beautiful and the staff are very flexible with any request.
We also had lunch at Crystal Blue two times. For us, this was the best restaurant in the resort.
The chicken wings, meatballs and everything we tried were really delicious. The view and atmosphere were perfect and romantic.
We also tried the beach restaurant. For us, this was maybe the lowest one for food taste and quality compared with the other restaurants. But it was still good.
I think they can add more food choices and improve the quality of some dishes, especially because the prices are a little high.
But overall, the food experience in the resort was 10/10.
Some small things I hope can be improved:
- The monkeys were sometimes annoying. There were many monkeys around our balcony, so sometimes we could not sit and relax outside. I understand this is part of the nature in Bali, but I hope there can be some solution for this.
- The tissue quality and size were honestly very bad compared with the level of this resort. I think this is a very small thing and easy to improve, but it will make a big difference.
- For the villas with private pools, I think the privacy can be better. Maybe adding more trees or plants around the pool can help.
- The resort is very good for baby strollers, maybe around 90–95%. But there are still some places with stairs where adding a ramp would make it much easier. Also, some metal water drainage covers on the walking paths are not on the same level as the ground, so sometimes it is difficult with the stroller.
- The elevator is one of the few things that I feel does not match the luxury of the resort. It looks a little old and sometimes not very clean. I think it needs some improvement to match the beautiful level of the rest of the resort.

What makes Samabe special is not only the beautiful place, beach or rooms. It is also the small details and the way the staff treat the guests.
Remembering our names, always asking about us, fast replies, flexibility, WhatsApp service and always smiling. These small things made our stay very special.
We left Samabe very happy with our experience, and we are already excited for our next stay with you.
