First time in Bali
It’s our first time here in Bali and we stayed at The Sakala Resort for 4 nights. The room, the staff, the service and food is beyond amazing! Thank you Neny and June for being so welcoming and accommodating! We are definitely coming back 😊
Generally good but service could use some improvement
Generally the whole stay was wonderful.
The resort is located on the peninsula and is well isolated, so traffic is kept to a minimum. The trade off is journey times to other areas can be long - travelling to the airport will take one hour.
The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. Place was quiet and the only real noise is the background music.
Room was spacious and well equipped. Even having a kitchen with stove and a microwave. However I found it strange to have a sliding door for both the shower and toilet. This lead to the situation you can have one closed but not the other.
Housekeeping was very good, keeping the room clean. However the staff did not refill my minibar, despite being on the all-inclusive package.
Facilities were excellent. The pool was nice and there was always beach towels & deckchairs available. Gym was well equipped.
Service was friendly. However the efficiency could be improved. An example was ordering a packed lunch for the next day. Apparently some of the staff did not know the logistics and I had to ask about the issue twice in one day.
Price was excellent for the all inclusive package.
