A piece of paradise in Seminyak
This must have been my fourth visit in as many years. I haven t tried other properties in Bali so far as the Oberoi always managed to delight me. The location is superb - right along a long stretch of white sand beach but still close to Seminyak center. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was excellent - very detail focused and full of little (positive) surprises (eg providing little stickers to shorten the charging cables.. This was the first time I stayed at one of the villas and the villa (with private pool) was simply fantastic. Beautifully decorated with all amenities. If I really want to nit-pick there are a few minor problems. I wished the safety box in the room was more eye level. Also, I noticed that for the wifi i had to 'forget network' and re-enter the login info every morning (oddly this was only the case for the phone, not my ipad). But these are very minor things.

The natural scenery is absolutely stunning. And the traditional renovation style makes it so local and special. It’s very impressive and unforgettable.
Luxury in Bali - the best
From the pre arrival communications, to check in, the rooms, facilities, food and the wonderful staff everything at the Oberoi is first class. We have been travelling to Bali annually for many years and for the past 5 years have stayed at the Oberoi. Arriving here is like arriving home. The gardens and grounds are so beautiful and well maintained and there is no traffic noise. John Halpin and his team provide the friendliest and best service and are very helpful. When you want to not stay at a Resort, this is the place!
Loved the hospitality, and our stay overall. Glad to be staying at a non-resort! The location is excellent, right within walking distance of everything in Seminiyak and the food was outstanding.
For children, some more activities would have been welcome.
