We had an excellent stay at this hotel, which is wonderfully located on the banks of the Chao Praia river and within easy travelling distance of many of Bangkok’s major attractions and areas. We were travelling as a family of five; mum, dad and kids aged 20, 18 and 16. The hotel’s public areas were kept immaculately clean and were modern, classy and befitting of the hotel’s five star status. We particularly enjoyed the live piano and singers entertainment in the evening. We stayed in king bed balcony suites which were very spacious and allowed us to watch life go by below and on the river. The hotel’s pool area was a great place to chill before or after a full on day of sight seeing. We ate breakfast every day on an outdoor terrace which was hot but very enjoyable. The selection of food was truly global. We did also have evening meal on our me occasion. This was unspectacular. The staff were excellent - so kind, genuine and pleased to help. There were a few bars and restaurants nearby along with Thai massage parlours. We would certainly return to this hotel and don’t hesitate to recommend it .
The legacy hotel on the riverfront, I heard about this hotel when I was little until I had time to stay. The building is not modern, but the rooms are functional, and the view is magnificent. There are impressive river journeys available.
A little scary but overall good
