Arrive to the long dramatic illuminated lobby at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui with a fresh breeze flowing through and natrual sun and moonlight coming through. Walking along this fresh lobby walkway, will take you all the way to the the oceans edge for the perfect frame for your first vacation photo. The resort is built around the YangNa Trees (protected trees in thailand) and coconut trees, famous to Koh Samui. The hotel grounds has over 600 trees on our 8 acres, the hotel design based on the hotel being a gallery within the protected forest allowing guests many places to sit, rest, look out to the ocean, walk within tropical and garden flower beds and of course celebrate. The hotel has 140 rooms, including a regency club, 17 suites and 7 pool villas. Each of the villas are at the beach and seaside edge and have large expansive deck areas. The Presidential Villa is the largest and most luxurious of all. The hotel has a signature grill restaurant and bar by the beach, Lobby Bar social space and a Spa of 5 treatments rooms (2 are double suites). The hotel has event space of 190sqm allowing sit down western dinners of 100pax, cocktails for 150, and we welcome events outdoors, beach and other locations of our hotel.

Best luxury resort Koh Samui
This is an absolutely amazing resort. We spoiled ourselves and got a one bedroom villa with our own pool and club access.
The staff here are spectacularly good - from day one they remembered what we liked and just kept getting better and better! In particular Bank, Jusmin and Tartar are rock stars in our opinion and could not have looked after us with more friendliness, kindness, professionalism and - well I don’t have more words!

Best property to stay in Ko Samui
Fantastic experience in this property. Everything was class. The service was excellent specially your front office is very helpful. Specifically Julia at the front office was too good. The beach though is Rocky but still it’s very clean and nice. We didn’t have kids along but saw lots of activities for kids. Only thing could improve was add more vegetarian cuisine in breakfast.

Exceptional service and thoughtful birthday surprises!
We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional.
A huge thank you to the team for surprising us with a fantastic room upgrade—the room was spacious, modern, and offered stunning views. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the hotel went above and beyond to make it extra special. They prepared a lovely birthday setup in the room, complete with creative towel art and sweet touches, as well as a delicious birthday cake.
Every detail showed how much care they put into their guests. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Very good
Overall, the hotel is excellent. The rooms are wonderful with lovely views, the staff is fantastic—warm and courteous—and the breakfast is simply outstanding. The kids' club is delightful, featuring friendly staff who proactively engage with the children. The pools are great, and the atmosphere is lovely and quiet. The food in the restaurants is tasty but, unfortunately, expensive; the lack of alternative dining options outside the hotel is, in my view, a downside. There are no massage services outside the hotel either, so you have to take a taxi to get anywhere, which is another disadvantage. Additionally, I do not feel the place is sufficiently accessible for families with babies in strollers; getting from one area to another involves a long, very steep walk—at times, it even feels unsafe.

Perfect for families of all ages
We stayed at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui as a family of six in September 2026, and everything was simply perfect - the pool, the rooms, the food and above all the staff, whose service was outstanding. The resort is designed for maximum comfort for every age, adults and kids alike, with lots of cozy corners to relax in. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable, carefree stay on Samui.
