Absolute Sanctuary Hotel

This year marked our 9th retreat at Absolute Sanctuary, and every time we return, it genuinely feels like coming home. It has become such a special place for us, and many of our guests return year after year too. Watching familiar faces come back and seeing how much they look forward to this retreat each year is one of the highlights of what we do.

The Yoga and Pilates facilities are exceptional. They are clean, modern and well maintained, with equipment and spaces that meet the high standards we offer in Australia. We also loved experiencing the new contrast therapy offering, which was a fantastic addition to the wellness experience.

The Love Kitchen continues to be a huge highlight. The food is fresh, healthy, nourishing and delicious, and the team are incredibly attentive to dietary requirements and individual needs. Nothing is too much trouble, and our guests always feel genuinely cared for.

The Spa team are wonderful. The massages and facials are incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to unwind after a full day of movement. We particularly appreciate how carefully they cater to guests who are pregnant, ensuring treatments are adapted appropriately and safely while still providing a beautiful experience.

The Guest Services team are attentive, warm and always available to help. Whether it is a big request or a tiny detail, nothing ever seems like too much trouble. A special shout-out to the incredible team of drivers, who safely transport our group around the island with such professionalism and a smile. They make our guests feel safe, comfortable and very well looked after.

And finally, a huge thank you to Jee, Lisa and Alis. These three make everything behind the scenes run like clockwork. We rarely see the work that goes into making a retreat run so seamlessly - things simply arrive, requests are handled and everything works exactly as it should. Their attention to detail, professionalism and incredible English also make communication so easy for our international guests. Honestly, if we could take the three of them back to Australia to work with us, we would!

Absolute Sanctuary has become such an important part of our retreat journey, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire team for continuing to make every visit so special. We can't wait to come home again for retreat number 10. ❤️

Had a wonderful stay as a solo traveller. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The yoga and Pilates classes were a definite highlight.

There was a minor issue with ants in the toilet, but staff handled it promptly and professionally by arranging a room change. I really appreciated their quick response and care for my comfort.

Perfectly Named! Absolutely a Sanctuary as an Antidote to Civilization! I booked 7 nights and extended 10. I would have stayed longer if I didn't have another place already booked. I hope to return again next year.
