The Pinnacle Samui Resort & Spa on Koh Samui Island is a newly built, small resort on the Maenam Beach in the North of the island. It consists of a mainbuilding and a number of bungalows in the typical Samui style set in a tropical garden. The free size swimming pool and the open air restaurant are directly on the beach as well.

Not 3 star hotel by any means. The complex is beautiful and the gardens are well kept the gardeners work hard all day. The bungalow we stayed in left a lot.to be desired. The wall were damaged, mended to not well. The bottom of the bathroom door was pealing. The bed was like a board with no give in it at all. The reception staff lack the usual Thai welcoming demeanor. The beach is beautiful and there's never a shortage of loungers and umbrellas didn't use the pool so cannot comment. It's a really is at the end of the road.

Been here 6 days I have 6 days to go. I was questioned first two days of being here to check room number if paid for breakfast.
Come today and I’m the only black person here and questioning me and embarrassed me in front of other people if I’ve paid. I said no I’ve been here for 6 days why are you asking I pre paid everything.
Told her to ask her her colleague. And I haven’t even received an apology and she hasn’t asked anyone else for their room number and I’m waiting for her to and she hasn’t.
Very basic hotel, aggressive threatening staff
Please avoid this place, it’s not worth it. We stayed here for one night before catching the early boat to Koh Tao having booked through Booking.com. A glitch in the site meant that the confirm came through for 2 rooms but with 2 adults and 1 child total rather than 2 adults and 4 children. I contacted the hotel both through booking.com messaging on multiple occasions and finally when no reply received by the direct hotel email, all ignored.
Despite booking a transfer for 6 people, a small car arrived at the airport and we had to wait in the heat with our kids for over half an hour whilst another arrived. Reception then tried to charge us for 2 separate cars, despite this being their error and us having the inconvenience. We were then made to pay 900 baht extra for the roll out beds, despite them being on the original booking.com confirm.
Rooms extremely basic, air con works after a while, cleaning just about ok on a surface level. Comfort levels as you definitely wouldn’t want to stay more than a quick night. Areas with rubbish in the gardens, didn’t see the beach or pool.
Arrived at reception 7:30am for the transfer to the ferry port to find a new receptionist shouting aggressively at my young family that we had not disclosed the ages of our kids and had to pay more. Another 600 baht. When you check in passports are submitted so it’s unclear why this wasn’t mentioned then. I tried to show the booking.com details and she refused to look at them then threatened to not take us to our ferry so we would miss it and call the police. My family were very shaken indeed after this experience. It also ended up, after having to pay the 2 lots of extra money, very poor value for the inconvenience, low standard of accommodation and being aggressively threatened on departure. I highly recommend you avoid this hotel.

Pleasant stay
Pleasant stay, comfortable bed. AC is very good. The staff was very helpful, one morning we urgently needed to go to the pharmacy, and the reception staff in a second organized transportation for my wife, at no cost. As we unfortunately got sick during our stay we couldnt try the pool and beach, but we know from previously stays that they are top notch.

What a great little find!
Booked this hotel for one night as close to the pier for our ferry crossing the following morning.
Great accommodation, large rooms, clean and right on the beach in a quieter area, would definitely stay again.
Thank you so much to Naomi for going out of your way to return the kindle my partner left, can’t believe you sent it to our hotel free of charge and wrapped securely, so impressed with your help, thank you!
Also breakfast was included, which was a lovely touch we didn’t know we had, would defo recommend this accommodation for a Thai experience
