August 2026 experience at JW Marriott Phuket
Because there was construction and renovation in the Vacation Club villas, pool and restaurants, the amenities were somewhat reduced. However the service and villa offered to us were very good and we enjoyed ourselves. The concierge service led by Oy Penprapa Thongthep was exceptional and we could always depend on good recommendations by her and her team for the 20 years I have been going there. I rate them a 5. The experience we have had with a newly installed third-party tourist desk, Tui, has been less than satisfactory- they do not seem to have the same experience nor knowledge of Phuket as Oy’s team has. I have given them a rating of only 1 as this was not the standard I expected of the JW Marriott. The music offered by the live duos at night in the bar was also less than satisfactory and not professional. The singers were fine but the keyboard players were terrible.

Wonderfull
All the team was friendly and exellent. Special mention to Oy consierge who was always there, helpfull and ready to help Restaurants and Cleanliness excellent as well.
Oy is a wonderful staff!^_^
Oy was so kind and helpful. What helped us the most was that she even thought about the traffic when we were visiting the temples. Thanks to her, the children didn’t get too tired even in the heat! Meeting her made our trip even more special. We are truly grateful to her!

Great experience
We had an absolutely amazing stay at the resort! The service was exceptional, and the facilities were fantastic, making both of our visits truly memorable. A special mention goes to the majestic Oy the concierge, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming throughout both stays. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel so well taken care of. We’re very grateful for the wonderful hospitality and look forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!
World Class OY Concierge
We've been coming to the JW Marriott Phuket for many years now and the service has always been excellent. This year we were assisted by Oy in our booking, and she made our experience so much smoother and more comfortable. Oy helped us to organise our transport to and from the airport to the hotel, car rental, even helped us to check the status of our room while we were in a different hotel. At the end of the trip, she made sure we got to the airport in time for an early morning flight. So much thanks to Oy Marriott Concierge - very trustworthy and better than the Tui tour desk
