The hotel is close to the beautiful Nai Yang Beach. A variety of restaurants and bars are located nearby and Phuket town, with its shopping and nightlife opportunities, is a 40-minute drive from the resort. Facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange, cloakroom, a café, bar and restaurant, a hairdressing salon, a games room, conference facilities, and Wi-Fi. Guests can also use the room and laundry services. Parking facilities are available. Younger guests will love the playground and the kids club, with large screen televisions and computers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I think people who love nature will really enjoy it. The staff are all very kind, the hospitality is wonderful, and you’ll get an experience that’s well worth the price.
We had 5 nights at The Slate hotel in Phuket and it was amazing, fantastic setting in beautiful lush surroundings, you immediately feel relaxed on arrival, the food was excellent, staff extremely friendly and polite, our two teenagers really enjoyed the pools, easy access to the beach with lots of choice for restaurants too, we also enjoyed a cooking class at the hotel as well, our rooms were superb, very spacious and lovely outdoor balcony with comfy seating overlooking the gardens, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to return!
Great design hotel! The Slate is located on an old coconut farm and pays homage to Phuket's old tin mine; the kind of origin story smaller properties tend to overuse. Here, it informs rather than dominates: the design is industrial at its core, but never cold, and the gardens have had enough time and care to look genuinely lush. We arrived in the mid-afternoon and were completely relaxed by early evening, which isn’t something I say lightly after a long flight of more than 26 hours. Located on the peaceful northwest coast near Sirinat National Park, it combines modern design with the natural beauty of Phuket. Designed by Bill Bensley, the resort blends contemporary luxury with local heritage, standing out for its décor inspired by the tin mining era. Guests can choose from stylish suites and luxurious villas with private pools, as well as enjoy award-winning dining experiences like the Black Ginger restaurant. Located on Nai Yang Beach, the resort is also committed to sustainability, using natural materials and offering biodegradable amenities. Bonus: The best restaurant in Phuket. A modern masterpiece of Thai art, the Black Ginger restaurant is designed like a traditional mansion floating by a lagoon surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The menu offers a fusion of flavors from the best of modern local cuisine in an incredible setting. Celebrating the authenticity of the island's heritage, the talented chefs bring ancient recipes to the forefront. The restaurant is the star of The Slate hotel, inspired by the Ayutthaya era and brought to life with the creative touch of architect Bill Bensley, who brilliantly designed the entire resort.
Top resort with high service level. Great accomodation, restaurants and hyper friendly staff.
Perfect resort, excellent food, we had a perfect time and will come back again next time 🙏
