The world changed in 2020 — and so did we. Guest needs changed and we adapted our offering accordingly. TIA was created in a bold response, shifting the priority from relaxation to providing authentic wellness. Our roots have been steeped in wellness since our brand began as Fusion Maia in 2008, when we first developed our spa-inclusive concept, the first of its kind in Vietnam. We evolved as spa leaders in the industry, winning accolades for our approach to mindful well-being. Our exciting new concept continues to build on this, taking wellness a step further by equipping guests with the tools necessary to rejuvenate and enhance their life.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at TIA for six nights and had an amazing experience. We went all in on wellness, choosing the Retreat Inclusive package with 140 minutes of treatments per day and a plant-based meal plan. We did cheat a couple of times at breakfast though, the eggs were simply too good!
Between us we tried almost every treatment in the wellness centre and every one was really good. My personal favourites were the hot stone massage and the advanced facial.
The daily programme of activities was another highlight. These included daily yoga sessions, I would particularly recommend the sound therapy and breathing classes. Both were a wonderful opportunity to clear your mind and be fully present.
The villas are beautiful, stylish and well equipped with a huge bath and a massive bed. The pool is perfectly formed and a nice way to relax after a hard day in the spa.
The minibar is healthy with fresh spa water and health teas and some nice healthy snacks.
What really made the stay special was the people. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and professional.
A special thank you to Ms Du, who made us feel like we were the only guests in the resort. Her attention, warmth and care made a lasting impression. The world is a big place and we rarely visit the same hotel twice, but TIA makes it very difficult to stick to that rule.
Thank you, Ms Du, and the entire TIA team. We hope to see you again
From the moment we arrived, my husband and I were astounded at the service and experiences we enjoyed at Tia Wellness Resort. It was our honeymoon, and we especially chose TIA to focus on our wellbeing.
Our thanks to all the staff for an amazing experience, especially Thong - the Duty Manager, who checked-in with us almost every day. Then there was Minh - the House-Keeping Mgr and his team. Our private villa was kept spotless, and every night they turned down our bed and left a mindful gift, focused on 'wellbeing' every night.
The staff got to know us well, and they were so helpful in reminding us of our preferred choice to be 'gluten-free' at each meal - which made such a difference to our whole experience of feeling lighter and healthier.
We especially loved the included daily treatments from the Wellness Centre. We've never felt so pampered. The staff are caring and experts in their particular treatment specialities. Thank you Ms Truyen.
The Wellness Centre also leads out to the Wellness Garden and Waterfall - which was where we enjoyed our honeymoon dinner. It was personalised, and romantic, with special touches such as the hanging lanterns in the trees, and a fan to give us a cooler dining experience. They think of everything before you do.
The gym and fitness centre, and the included daily wellness activities (yoga, breathwork and creative workshops) are exceptional - and available for you to do whenever you want.
And of course, the option to relax by the pool or beach is a treat. Lunch by the Ocean Bistro is the best.
During our 2 week stay, the staff got to know us well, and we very much appreciated their attentive service, particularly Ms Yen, Nguyen, Viet and Ms Nga.
And don't forget to book some authentic Vietnam experiences through TIA. Ask the friendly and organised Ms Nga to assist you. We enjoyed a visit to Marble Mountain and Lady Buddha: the Vespa Tour in Hoi An and the countryside; the visit to the ancient Champa Kingdom; the Calligraphy Lesson in Hoi An; and the Tra Que Vegetable Cooking Experience (planting, picking herbs, and the cooking lessons back at TIA). It was all amazing.
We also loved the special themed evenings in the Dining Room, such as the BBQ Seafood buffet. The quality of food and the experience was exceptional.
Everything that TIA does is with an eye for detail, and with the intention to enhance your experience. We were made to feel like we were part of the TIA family.
We would absolutely recommend staying at the Tia Wellness Resort - whether it's for leisure, for an intentional reset of your wellbeing, as a stop-over, or for a business retreat. They have it all. What is unique however, is the boutique and personalised experience that you wont find in a massive hotel.
Thank you everyone at TIA. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Rebecca & Jerome Lamarque.
e had the best experience staying at Tia! The location is perfect, its close enough to get a cheap Grab into Da Nang but just outside of the hustle and bustle so you can relax. The facilities on site are EXCEPTIONAL. Clean rooms, a class-leading wellness centre, and fresh food that will leave you feeling great. The staff are honestly the best ive ever had the pleasure of being hosted by. Always polite and professional, they were all so wonderful. After 6 days it felt like we were a part of their family! We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, wonderful smiles, and helpful nature. Thank you so much! Tia sets the standard for what a wellness retreat should be offering and if this is the sort of experience you're seeking, dont waste your time looking anywhere else - book Tia and experience the best.
I had the most comfortable and amazing stay here. The resort had a boutique feel to it, and there were no noisy kids. The room was essentially a villa, with its own private pool, sunbathing lounge bed, and outdoor sitting area. The interior was spacious and full of natural light. It featured a double vanity, rain shower, recessed bathtub, and Japanese smart toilet. The rotatable TV (with Netflix) meant you could watch it from the bed or the bathroom. The minibar was stocked with detox water, herbal tea and packets of snacks like dried fruits, all of which were complimentary; there was also drip coffee from FeFe Coffee, Hoi An). Our stay came with an 80 min treatment at the Wellness Centre for two; the Deep Connection Therapy & Bamboo Roll-out were both good. Breakfast was excellent too; other than the egg station, bacon and usual stuff, there were pho, purple rice porridge, a wide selection of fruits (mango, pomelo, passion fruit etc.), beetroot juice, macarons, very good coffee & matcha latte, etc. We didn't try the beachfront pool, but it's a lovely spot to relax with the ASMR of crashing waves. Staff were professional, helpful & accommodating.
Tia Wellness was honestly one of the highlights of our time in Da Nang. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and done plenty of spa experiences, but this place genuinely went above and beyond.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt incredibly thoughtful and personal. The service was exceptional - every member of staff was so warm, attentive and genuinely lovely without ever feeling overbearing. You really get the feeling that the little details matter here.
The wellness experience itself was amazing. The treatments were incredible, the facilities were beautiful, and the whole place has such a peaceful atmosphere that you completely switch off the second you arrive. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time in the best possible way.
What really stood out to me, though, was how much care had clearly gone into the entire experience. Nothing felt rushed or like it was simply ticking a box. We felt genuinely looked after from start to finish.
If you’re visiting Da Nang and considering staying at Tia Wellness or even just visiting for a wellness experience, DO IT. It’s absolutely worth it.
Five stars doesn’t feel like enough - I’d give Tia Wellness 11/5 if I could!
