Majorca is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea. It is the largest island in the Balearic Islands archipelago, in Spain.

The capital of the island, Palma, is also the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands.

Known for vast array of turquoise waters, beaches, and sheltered coves and vibrant nightlife there is lots to see and do here. If you feel adventurous then visit the he Serra de Tramuntana. This mountain range, running down the west of Majorca, has been made a World Heritage Site and is worth the visit if you want a change of scenery from the beaches.

The resort of Cala d'Or on Majorca's south-east coast, has grown from a fishing village to a lively resort with an energetic crowd and nightlife.

Palmo Nova is Magaluf's quieter family friendly neighbour. There are lots of sunbathing spots as well as a calm atmosphere in the friendly bars and restaurants at the promenade.

Another beautiful resort is C'an Pastilla, around 15-20 minutes away from the airport and is the perfect destination for young families who wish to relax and have some fun in the sun. The beaches are the finest along the island, and is a short 10 minute journey from the neighbouring resort Playa de Palma. You will find varied water sport activities, fine restaurant and bars.

Palma is the capital and largest city of the Balearic Islands, situated on the South Coast of the island Majorca on the Bay of Palma.
