Experience Holland's classics aboard the MS Monet. Highlights include cosmopolitan Amsterdam, Lake Ijsselmeer - one of the largest lakes in western Europe, a bike tour of the Polder system and, of course, a plethora of windmills.
Day 1: UK to AmsterdamDepart London on your scheduled flight to Amsterdam. Enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew before dinner with the option to join a tour of Amsterdam by night on a riverboat.

Day 2: AmsterdamMust-see attractions include the Anne Frank House and Van Gogh museum. Optional excursions include a guided city tour or an enjoyable bike tour where you'll meander along picturesque canals.

Day 3: Amsterdam, Hoorn and EnkhuisenCruise towards Hoorn, optional excursions include a guided visit of Alkmaar and its cheese museum or a bike tour of the unique Dutch polder landscape that includes a stop at a 17th-century windmill. Tonight cruise to Enkhuizen.

Day 4: Enkhuizen to LemmerToday explore Enkhuizen in your own time before you cruise the Ijsselmeer, one of the largest lakes in western Europe. Moor at Lemmer where there'll be time to discover the famous Woudagemaal steam pumping station before a gala dinner on board the ship.

Day 5: Lemmer to AmsterdamToday choose between optional visits to Volendam, a town known for its colourful wooden houses or Zaanse Schans with its collection of well-preserved windmills. Enjoy some free time or ask to be dropped in Amsterdam city centre for a walk around the Red Light District (transfer by coach, at a fee).

Day 6: Amsterdam to UKDisembark after breakfast for your return flight to the UK.

Sail through Holland and Lake Ijsselmeer on the MS Monet enjoying the fabulous views from the large sun-deck. This 2 deck ship features 78 comfortable, well-equipped cabins. Facilities include a lounge bar, dining room, library and gift shop.
All cabins are equipped with shower and toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, radio, safe. Spaced across the Upper and Main Decks, all cabins are outside facing and located above the water affording outstanding views from the large picture window.
Your day will always begin with an impressive buffet breakfast. Chefs prepare succulent 3-course meals for lunch and dinner which are served in the onboard restaurant. Midday and evening meals are paired with excellent and carefully chosen beers and wines, included in the price. An open bar is available throughout the voyage (not including Champagne, special wines, premium spirits or fine brandies).
All cruises start with a welcoming cocktail reception where you'll meet the captain, crew and staff of your ship. Facilities onboard include a comfortable lounge with a dance floor for your enjoyment and relaxation as well as a gift shop. FREE Wifi is available in lounge bar and reception. The sun deck, complete with deckchairs, offers a panoramic view of the landscape's beauty as you cruise.
