Had a good time here. We had a sea view room which was great. Area is about 20-30 min walk to Kos town. There’s plenty of nice beach bars a short walk away and more sandy beach for free sun beds and they serve u on the beach. Food was decent enough and same with drinks on all inclusive. Few bars and restaurants around the area to go aswell.

Good experience

The Hotel Atlantis is facing the beach the grounds and the swimming pool are well maintained. All communal areas inside and outside are well very clean. The rooms are dated but clean. The restaurant serves a good variety of food and the All inclusive package is good value for money. The only downside is only one key card for the room. Out and about Kos 30 mins away on foot varies little shops local to the hotel. You can go on trips for half a day or full days all around various places on this island. Not that expensive. This Hotel is good value for money so please do not be put off by pervious reviews it is a clean hotel with pleasant helpful staff trying there best so that you to have good time on holiday.

This holiday was good value for money

Myself and four of my friends visited for 9 days where we enjoyed floating hungover in the pool during the day and infinite free cocktails and beers during the evening. 

Despite the fact we were on a “lads holiday”, the main types of people staying at the hotel are families and couples, so don’t expect a party hotel. 

The town of Kos is a 40 minute walk away but I recommend hiring a Hoppy electric scooter from just a little up the road from the hotel to get to town in just 8 minutes. The town itself is very pretty and has a fantastic nightlife. 

The food is good as far as All-Inclusive food goes but we were a little tired of it by the end of the holiday. I recommend going into town for dinner a couple times to try some real Greek food. 

The staff were all incredibly friendly and hardworking. We had several great conversations with Thomas, one of the entertainers, who was a lot of fun to talk to and gave us plenty of great recommendations for places to explore in the town of Kos.

I would definitely recommend this hotel because it is fantastic value for money and everyone we met was super nice and respectful.

Great All-Inclusive Hotel in Kos

Came home last weekend from a week at the Atlantis Beach Hotel.  Having seen some negative reviews we were pleased to find the hotel was nothing like some of the things I've read.  
We paid for the superior room with a sea view so the room review is based purely on this.  It was spacious enough for the two of us, with a clean bathroom (although the shower over the bath wasn't great), and a generous balcony with a table and 3 chairs overlooking the pools and sea.  We had an issue with the air conditioning but after reporting it to reception, it was fixed straight away.
The food was perfectly acceptable for all inclusive fair with a fish dish every night and two of beef, pork and chicken to choose from as well.  A well stocked salad bar and a variety of deserts.  I've seen reports of the food being cold but that's not something we found.  The main restaurant has a bit of a cattle market feel to it as it gets pretty busy so if you want something a bit quieter, go the the Tavern on the Blue restaurant which is smaller and quieter, albeit with less choice food-wise.  The snacks at the Tavern on the Blue which are available after 10.30am were generally a choice of two types of pizza, olive bread, fruit and ice cream.  This got a little repetitive over the week.
The drinks were ok.  Beer felt a bit watered down but then as it's unlimited, that didn't really matter.  The cocktails were very sweet to the point of only trying a couple before giving up on them.  That may be a personal taste though as plenty of other people were indulging.
If you want a sunbed with an umbrella for shade you probably need to be up before 8am, although a staff member does go around at that time and removes all towels from unoccupied beds and puts them on the table net to it, which kind of defeats the object of removing them really!
We stayed around the smaller, quieter of the two pools which suited us.  The larger pool has the activities throughout the day and both pools are served by their own bar so you don't have to go far for a drink wherever you're situated.  This was also closer to the sea as well which was noticeably colder than the pool!
The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and the hotel itself was pretty spotless with used drinks glasses constantly being collected both from the bars/lounge, and the sunbed areas.
The hotel would probably benefit from being a little closer to Kos Town as it's a leisurely (in 42 degree heat leisurely is the only option!) 30 minute walk into town.  Although there is a bus stop outside with a bus timetable available from reception and the bus will get you into town in about 5 minutes.  We caught this a couple of times and once were not charged, and the other times were charged 1.5 Euros.
Finally a word on the staff who were without exception friendly, polite and helpful and a credit to the hotel.
I would happily return.

Lovely, welcoming hotel

We are 4 friends of a certain age who booked to visit the Atlantis over a year ago.  We were a bit apprehensive about our choice of hotel after reading some of the reviews on TA.  However, we had a lovely time, the hotel was clean, the staff friendly, professional and helpful.  We always managed to get a sunbed and the pool areas and the beach were lovely.  We had rooms 131 and 136. Whilst room 131 was lovely and had a view of the sea in the distance, room 136 could receive noise from a Karaoke bar until midnight, but when you have unpacked and settled and are only there for a week, then you can’t really be bothered to ask to change rooms.  Food was fine, sometimes breakfast wasn’t very hot. There is plenty of choice and always something for even the fussiest of people to eat.  All Inclusive drinks aren’t the best, they never are, but certainly not the worst we have had at a hotel. I couldn’t drink the a/l wine so would buy a glass from the bar which cost me 4€ and I had no problem with paying that for a decent glass of wine.  There was also the option of paying for branded alcohol cocktails at 6.50€ each.  For the price we paid for the week and the amenities we received we had no objection in paying for the occasional good few glasses.   We walked one night into Kos Town which took us approximately 30minutes, a taxi cost us 8€ so for 4 of us, that’s minimal.  We used a local tour agency for a trip to Bodrum. Spent many an evening down the road at Flintstones, a bar which does the most amazing cocktails at 6.50€ each.  Shout out to the ‘Gyros Man’ at the hotel who makes the most amazing Gyros at lunchtime and works really really hard! All in all we had a great week at the Atlantis, better than expected, and they must be doing something right because we got home and booked to return next year and do it all over again!

Better Than Expected

This 4 star hotel is located in the city centre of Santorini and was established in 1954.The Hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a conference room, a coffee shop and an outdoor swimming pool.
