We recently stayed at the InterContinental Fujairah Resort and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff stood out and remained consistent throughout our stay.

A special mention goes to Michael and Edrisa, who went above and beyond to make our children feel welcomed and engaged. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious – they spent time playing football with the boys, creating moments of fun and laughter that our kids are still talking about. It’s rare to see hotel staff so genuinely invested in guests’ experiences, especially with children, and we deeply appreciated their kindness and patience.

The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly at the Nama Restaurant. The food there was consistently excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Whether at breakfast or dinner, we were never disappointed. A special thanks to Priyanka and Aditya, whose warm, attentive service made every meal feel personal and enjoyable. We also appreciated the kindness and professionalism of two tall gentlemen working at the restaurant whose names we, unfortunately, didn’t catch – they were courteous, attentive, and always had a smile, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. They were especially kind to the children and ensured we were always well looked after.

We also really enjoyed our time at the Horizon Bar. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and kid-friendly. A special thank you to Kate and Sandeep, who were always cheerful, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. It quickly became one of our favorite spots to unwind as a family.

The luxury spa at the resort was another standout. Open to all guests, it offered affordable treatments without compromising on quality. The level of skill and professionalism was impressive, and a special thanks to Rupa and Sepi, who both delivered exceptional treatments. Their expertise, warmth, and calming presence made each visit deeply relaxing and restorative.

We were also touched by how the staff helped make my husband’s birthday so special. We returned to our room to find a beautifully presented cake, and later at Nama Restaurant, the team surprised us with a few delicious cupcakes and even sang Happy Birthday to him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and added a personal, heartfelt touch to our stay.

The kids club was a nice addition, offering a safe and supervised space with a schedule of activities. However, it did feel more suited to younger children.  It would be great to see more balanced, inclusive options in the future (football, water fights and games for 6+). 

The cleanliness of the hotel was also excellent throughout our stay. Rooms, common areas, and facilities were always spotless and well-maintained, which contributed greatly to the sense of comfort and relaxation during our visit.

While most of our experiences were fantastic, there were a couple of areas for improvement. At the Infinity Pool, the staff could be more proactive in offering drinks or checking in with guests. This was especially noticeable in comparison to the Family Pool, where the staff were much more attentive and responsive. Additionally, the infinity pool policy regarding floats was inconsistent – we were told they weren’t allowed, yet saw others using them freely. This was disappointing for the children, who were looking forward to using theirs.

Overall, the InterContinental Fujairah delivers not just luxury but also genuine care. With a stunning setting, excellent service, and a team of standout staff – including Michael, Edrisa, Priyanka, Aditya, Rupa, Sepi, Kate, Sandeep, the Horizon Bar team, and the two kind gentlemen at Nama – this resort made our family holiday feel truly special. We look forward to returning and hope to see continued improvements in service consistency across all areas.

Fantastic family stay with staff who truly cares!

Highly recommended the ambiance, the facilities, the staff are amazing. Especial thankful  to concierge Shine very welcoming  ang helpful during the stay and housekeeping  team who were very hardworking and  hospitable. The amazing  trip ever.

Fujairah vacation

The property is amazing with amazing staff, Shine at concierge was very helpful and informative, the valet driver was great too. The receptionist welcomed us and made us feel special.
The rooms are well maintained and small fresh.
The beach was something extra ordinary with beautiful sands coupled with the roaring sea waves.

Beautiful desert gem, a must visit place, top of the bucket list

It was my first and definitely my last experience at Intercontinental. About 70% of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, providing no information or assistance when needed.

Upon entering, I noticed Arabic coffee available for guests. When I asked for a cup, I was told there was no coffee and that I should go buy one from the lobby.  

During my stay, there was a "Happy Hour" offer, but no one informed me about it. I only found out later, which made me feel even more neglected as a guest.

To make matters worse, during checkout, I had to wait over 30 minutes. The reception staff were not friendly or helpful at all, and the process was slow.

The worst part, however, was the valet parking service. I entrusted them with my car, and they returned it scratched without informing me or taking any responsibility. This was completely unacceptable.

Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I will never return to this hotel again.

Experience at Intercontinental Fujairah

This is one of the best hotel I ever stayed before! From the moment I stepped in, I have been greeted by Joisca, check in was very smooth and I was so happy to hear about upgrade. When me and my gf walked into room, we was surprised to see amazing birthday decoration, I did t expect to see that and it was just breathtaking experience! Thanks for that thoroughly made decorations and amenities to Naledi, Gaurab, Su, and Chanaka. Also want to mention Hayman for booking cabana for us, we really enjoyed our time by the pool. Additional thanks to Jonathan and the In-Room Dining team, Akash at Nama restaurant, Fathi, and the entire team at Drift, you guys amazing! 
A special mention goes to the incredible Trixie at the front desk. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm welcome did not go unnoticed, and I am genuinely grateful for her care throughout our stay, she is a rockstar of this hotel 😊😊
